- Items for infants, such as formula, diapers, bottles, and pacifiers.
- First aid kit
- Identify a family member or friend who can be used as a central communication point person.
- Use your cell phone’s text messaging capability to receive text messages from FEMA.
- Know your community warning systems.
- Have a family meeting place if your home is destroyed.
- Make sure your plans include your family pets.
